Senior Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails)

• Leading collaboration with frontend developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration and overall project success.
• Developing data models and designing databases to store and manage application data.
• Ensuring API versioning and backward compatibility, allowing for smooth updates and transitions.
• Implementing security best practices to protect application data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conducting code reviews, providing feedback and guidance to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Integrating backend development processes with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Planning and implementing disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Monitoring system performance and tuning the backend for improved efficiency and speed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in developing backend
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Expert proficiency in Ruby on Rail.
• Have a passion for solving backend logic or translating business requirements/logic into code
• Experienced/Specialized in backend development with high load and high availability environment
• Knowledge in NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB) and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge in caching
• Love designing a service and fault-tolerant design
• Know how to fix bug and error issue
• Love writing test specs
• Know setup project from the beginning to the end
• Knowledge in micro services and service scalability
• Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
• Know the security of software
• Adaptation of a product with Localization and Internationalization
• DevOps (CentOS / CoreOS / Kubernetes / Docker) experience
• Understanding the Cloud Service Providers Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
• Know a concept of DNS, IPv6, network
• Good at English both oral and written is a must.
