The ideal candidate will be vital in developing and maintaining our company's best-practice HR strategies, procedures, and policies. This position will regularly interface with all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Perform people-related tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, culture; benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding to improve employee experiences
- Help organize training to drive development initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate policy, practice, and resource changes to upper management
- Support C-level on people-related projects or strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; or prior experience in Human Resources, People Management, Recruitment, etc.
- Minimum 2-3 years of human resources experience preferably in a startup, impact-driven, or fast-paced environment
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems
- Proactive in taking new initiatives and continuously improving processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Professional and can-do attitude; and capability to handle confidential information
