Events Specialist (Thailand)
The role of an Events Specialist is to support the Events and Experiences team in driving the overall delivery and management of live events, ranging from public activations to internal meetings. This role will have sole responsibility for a project or part responsible for a larger project, from brief to execution. This includes unpacking the project brief, scoping the project, allocating the necessary resources and budget and ensuring that all work (from creative concepts to logistics and technical) delivers against agreed objectives and surpasses project expectations.
Role:
- Oversee all aspects of event amp; experience management and production, from content and program development, design, AV production, vendor management, logistics, invitations, sponsorships, promotions and more.
- Run and oversee project timelines, action items/ deliverables, and budgets throughout all projects and events.
- Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships, including agencies, for the assigned program (clear communication on expectations, responsibilities, schedule, status/AIs, etc.), and ensure that needs are heard, understood and addressed in a timely way.
- Be a team player, assist the wider team on larger projects, including event production team logistics, running team meetings and project management efforts as needed.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with agency partners / external stakeholders.
You:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in all facets of event management
- 5+ years experience at an event agency
- Strong track record of success in events project management: manage, plan, organise and execute a wide range of successful events from inception to completion, within budget.
- Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to oversee multiple events concurrently in a timely and accurate manner, on budget
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with agencies, colleagues and suppliers.
- International event management experience
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills to cover projects across APAC.
