About the team
Professional Services
The GBG team, develops a variety of software solutions to help companies in the data acquisition, decision making and fraud detection processes. The Professional Services team provide delivery services to support software project implementation and customer advisory to ensure optimal use of GBG software and solutions
The Role
As a Project Manager (based in Bangkok, Thailand), you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of IT projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients’ stakeholders delivering the project within scope, on-time and within budget
What you will do
- Coordinate internal resources and clients for the effective execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, confluence page, Jira, and process maps to document needs
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project invoicing using appropriate verification techniques
- Communicate project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize and/or mitigate project risks
- Overseas travel may be required as necessary (lt;25%)
Requirements
- Bachelor of Software Engineering or Business Administration degree with relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall / agile) with at least three years project management experience.
