About this role
We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team and help us deliver high-quality data products. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders, including product owners, project managers, designers, developers, and clients to ensure successful delivery of data products. You will be responsible for gathering and analysing business and technical requirements, creating design documentation, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending solutions within an agile framework.

- Working closely with the Product Manager to ensure the overall data product strategy is achieved
- Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements for data product and translate to design
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and customer needs
- Collaborate with designers, product owner, developers and stakeholders to ensureproduct features and functionality meet business and technical requirements
- Take responsibility for your backlog within the scrum team, writing user stories,refinement and prioritization
- Document and ensure non-functional requirements are understood
- Identify and analyse potential risks and opportunities for data product delivery andmake recommendations to stakeholders
- Create acceptance criteria and potentially execute in sprint testing to ensure productquality and usability
- Support post-launch activities, including user training and adoption, feedbackcollection, and product optimization
Qualifications
- Degree in data, business, finance or a related field or relevant work experience with a proven track record specifically related to data product delivery
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data scientist, management information, or related field
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and techniques is an advantage
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools, including managing the product backlog and defining user stories
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and tools within anagile framework
- Passion for innovation, digital technology, and user-centered design
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to explaincomplex information in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to listen to and absorb information to analyse and translate into specificrequirements
- Ability to analyse complex information and data to identify patterns, trends, andinsights. This includes the ability to break down complex problems into smaller, moremanageable parts
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and ‘outside of thebox’ to find innovative solutions to complex problems
- Good understanding of technology, software, and systems. This includes experiencewith software development life cycles, data analysis tools, and project managementtools.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all requirements and specifications areaccurate and complete.
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible, able to work in a fast-paced and constantlychanging environment
- Strong understanding of customer needs and requirements. This includes the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
