Job Description

As an Associate Product Manager at Ooca, you will play a vital role in the development and success of our products and services. You will work collaboratively with the Product Manager, engineers, designers, marketers and other stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap. You will closely monitor progress and regularly gather feedback to make sure we deliver our value proposition to our users. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  1. Product discovery and ideation:
    1. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
    2. Generate innovative product concepts and solutions that address identified needs and market opportunities.
    3. Gather and analyze customer feedback through various channels to understand their needs and pain points.
    4. Evaluate ideas from cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  2. Planning:
    1. Develop a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with company goals and objectives.
    2. Prioritize features and requests based on market demand, user needs, and business objectives.
    3. Formulate a commercial excellence plan that optimizes product value and maximizes return on investment.
    4. Conduct financial and budget analysis to ensure resource allocation and project viability.
  3. Execution:
    1. Communicate clear directions with involved parties. Foster alignment among team members to guarantee consistent progress towards key milestones.
    2. Facilitate development team and operation team for smooth execution.
    3. Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot to ensure the realization of business plans.
    4. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure product quality and user satisfaction.
    5. Develop reports, dashboards, analysis, and automate processes using tools such as SQL, Excel, and in-house tools.
    6. Create comprehensive support and training documents for both internal and external users.
    7. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and revise the plan.
  4. Evaluation and iteration:
    1. Track product performance, identify potential opportunities and issues. Revise plans for product improvements.
    2. Report new product and feature performance, lessons learned and insights.
  5. Communication and Support:
    1. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the manager or reporting line.
    2. Provide information, analysis and directions to involved parties when needed.
    3. Manage stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
