What you will do:

• Touch base with delinquent customer via calls amp; emails to drive collections amp; maintaining customer relations
• Supporting the Collection Manager and the team in collection related activities from SME clients
• Stakeholder engagement with Credit, Sales, Legal and Operations in identifying and resolving problems impacting collections. i.e. dispute resolution amp; contract issues
• Prepare amp; submit monthly reports and forecast, including analysis amp; commentaries on delinquent customers
• Monitor, supervise, and coordinate debt collection agencies and law firms to ensure that work is possible according to goals and within company rules.
• Be the Company's representative in relation to legal proceedings against debtors.
• Support team members according to back up plan and on a hoc basis if required

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as debt collector for more than 2 years, or related fields more than 5 years
• Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
• Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
• Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
• Apt in negotiating and persuading
• Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence
• Bachelor Degree in law, accounting, business management, or a similar field
• Self-motivated and open minded to learn new aspects of work
