Job Description

As the HR Country Lead for Thailand at Manager level with GoGlobal, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all human resources functions within the country while also providing HR advisory support for Cambodia, Vietnam, and covering comprehensive onboarding processes. Additionally, you will take on the responsibility of Entity Directorship within the region. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with strong organisational skills and a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices.

Roles amp; Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advisory support to our client workers across Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, addressing HR issues and ensure alignment with our procedures.
  • Support on onboarding our client workers including preparation of their employment contracts, dispatch agreements, etc.
  • Set up the expense, leave and overtime tracking system for our client workers.
  • Maintain the onboarding tool including online forms and any related templates.
  • Support on ensuring overall compliance and quality of the HR templates including employment agreements, letters of certification, separation letters, promotion letters, and other internal notifications.
  • Coordinate and project manage requests including background checks, medical insurance arrangements, staff benefit plans, visa applications, relocations, health check arrangements, etc.
  • Build up a comprehensive HR knowledge database and prepare an overview of all company/individual benefits plans, visa end-to-end process, and background check requirements
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and regulatory changes in countries that you cover and communicate with your team members as applicable.
  • Oversee employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Assume the role of Entity Director for Thailand, overseeing corporate governance, compliance, and legal matters in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Gather and track the necessary information from our clients’ employees and be responsible for all necessary information being stored in specific locations.
  • Other ad hoc projects, as requested.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on Thailand and familiarity with labour laws and regulations in Cambodia and Vietnam.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and proficiency in local language(s)
  • Has a service-oriented mindset
  • Passionate about working in an international and diverse environment
  • Can work independently and is self-motivated
