What you’ll be doing

We are recruiting native Khmer speakers for a paid voice recording project supporting the development of AI speech technology.

Languages / Accents Needed

Phnom Penh Khmer accent (Phnom Penh)
Siem Reap Khmer accent (Siem Reap)

You can apply from anywhere in the world as long as you speak with an authentic native Phnom Penh or Siem Reap City accent.

Project Details
Participants will record approximately 1,000 short sentences, with each recording lasting up to 5 seconds. Scripts and detailed recording instructions will be provided.

Selected participants will first complete a 100-sentence pilot. Those who successfully pass the pilot will be invited to complete the full recording project.

Compensation
USD 55 for successful completion of the full project, depending on language/location and subject to quality approval.

What we’re looking for

Native Khmer speaker with an authentic Phnom Penh or Siem Reap City accent.
Able to provide proof of residence
Access to a cardioid or super-cardioid microphone
Must use a laptop or computer for recording
Able to record in a quiet environment
No professional voice recording experience required
