Role and Responsibilities
The role is responsible for overall TSE Samsung retail shop and asset in terms of retail shop development
To understand the Samsung brand’s DNA in order to successfully own and lead store development design and construction initiatives & work with Vendor’s team of industrial, graphic and production designers, manage external vendors and consultants, and collaborate cross-functionally with our Retail and Operations teams to successfully create award winning in store merchandising and retail environments
Manage various store types, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction (schedules, review of plans & bidding) through construction (implementing of construction activities, budget management and municipal sign offs) and warranty / close-out period (completion of punch list / warranty items and close-out financial documents within the timeline requirements)
Lead the development relationship between the Design team and their internal (Retail, Operations) and external partners (vendors)
Manage all the Design milestones for all Store environment projects
Build design development project management, design and construction processes and procedures
Establish store fixture development key milestones
Coordinates all design team communications, updates, adjustments with cross-functional partners internally and vendors externally
Has and maintains current knowledge of industry trends in retail store design including fixtures, lighting and finishes
Create execution plan for shop construction in order to fulfil business needs within budget and timeline
Manage stakeholders in order to have agreement on the projects and meet all related parties’ requirements
Manage construction projects from end to end process to ensure standard quality and deliver projects as commitment
Continuous improvement in project execution by tracking performance and analysing for enhancement
Provide technical expertise on shop and asset design to ensure Samsung global guidelines and standard quality, together with good operational functions will be considered and applied
