Sourcing Specialist (English / Chinese). If you are someone with knowledge and / or passion in the purchasing field, able to take ownership of your job and wanting to work in a big - thinking startup where you will be given room to grow, be challenged and expected to perform, but at the end also rewarded for your perseverance and hard work - then look no further, we have the job for you.
Responsibilities of the role are the following but not limited to :
- Support our buyer in finding the right suppliers for their products ;
- Sending RFQ (Request for Quotation) to suppliers on Alibaba / made-in-china/1688.com ;
- Keep contact with suppliers, answer questions and learn about the product ;
- Negotiate payment terms and method ;
- Issue Purchase orders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience as a Buyer, Product Sourcer, Purchaser is preferred
- Good command in English
- Good command in Chinese both spoken / written is a PLUS (HSK 5 - HSK 6)
- Experience sourcing from China is a desirable
- Ability to work with deadlines, organised and accurate
- Self motivating; able to take ownership and go - getter attitude
- Outgoing personality and a great team player
- New graduate are welcome
