Chilindo are seeking a Claims Manager to lead their Claims team. This role is challenging, fast-paced, and rewarding. You will be building relationships with external customers and internally with multiple teams. We are looking for someone who loves challenges and will persist until solutions are found.
This role is based at our HQ in Bearing.
What you will do:
- Dealing with products which have been returned by customers
- Providing effective and proactive communication to customers regarding status of services, time estimations and cost
- Managing the Claims team on a daily basis and providing leadership, direction and ongoing training
- Liaise with Customer Service and other internal teams to ensure all internal processes are functional
- Responsible for the hiring and training of new team members as required
- Devising and implementing new strategies and tactics to increase and improve workflows
- Provision of thorough and timely feedback to the CEO, Purchasing and relevant departments
Requirements
- Claims or Customer Service background is not necessary - we will consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds
- Must be a problem solver, very solutions driven
- People management experience
- Strong communication skills in English and Thai
- Role is open to ex-pats but only if they have a reasonable level of Thai language skills
- Must be curious, investigative and a 'fixer' -this means someone who likes to follow things through to a conclusion
