The Warehouse Manager’s role is to ensure high quality of work and productivity in the warehouse to meet the increasing demands of our growing customer base. This involves coordinating all backend logistics and everything tangible in our business - warehouses, charging hubs, transport vehicles, repair workshops, and of course Beam vehicles, in a safe and cost-efficient manner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

  • Identify and escalate any serious issues with our scooter hardware relating to repairs or rideability
  • Collect, manage, interpret and act on data to optimise all facilities operations
  • Work with local operations leads to establish optimal volume-velocity output, setting clear processes and targets based on the deployment needs of the various operating areas
  • Coordinate and manage supply, delivery, storage, charging, repair and replacement activities, ensuring maximum efficiency of all physical requirements connected with supply and maintenance of scooters
  • Manage personnel and output of personnel in the facilities
  • Constantly seek opportunities to maximise efficiencies in infrastructure and operational commitments
  • Accurately manage all budgetary responsibilities connected with these activities - reporting to business heads in a clear, consistent and reliable manner
  • Ensure all premises are set up to a high standard of Workplace Health amp; Safety, including leading WHamp;S inspections, ensuring WHamp;S policies and procedures are up-to-date, communicated, enacted and followed at all times
  • Develop and communicate best practices in repair methods for all models of scooters that we deploy
  • Develop and install efficient systems for just-in-time ordering, storage and usage of all scooter spare parts and related equipment
  • Set up and manage scalable warehouse, charging hubs and workshop facilities in new and existing markets

WHO YOU ARE :

  • A native Thai speaker with bilingual proficiency in English.
  • Extremely organized and process driven
  • Fire safety, occupational health and safety trained
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills - from employees to warehouse landlords, local and regional operations teams and other internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to analyze, form recommendations, and deliver on strategies based on sound understanding of data
  • The ability to take decisive and calculated actions in a fast-moving environment, and to take ownership of multiple operational deliverables in a number of cities and countries
  • Experience in creating, managing and reporting budgets in a consistent, accurate and dependable manner
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - enthusiasm for start-up life, and an ability to adapt and grow within a rapidly changing professional ecosystem
  • Ability and willingness to travel - enthusiasm for meeting, understanding and collaborating with people from a myriad of cultures and countries
