Job Description
We open the Data Wow Internship for at least 3 months. The first couple of months will train you to be a good Data Scientist/ Data Engineer/ Ruby on Rails Developer. The last month will let you free flow on the real project which works closely with seniors in each field.
As Data Scientist intern, you will be working with high complex structured and unstructured datasets. Yes, we are talking terabytes. You will be building Statistical, Machine Learning, and/or Deep Learning models to solve business problems, improve operation, and build data products.
Responsibilities:
- Build state-of-the-art Deep Learning models to tackle Computer Vision and NLP problems
- Work with data/product engineers to deploy it to production and/or build a data product out of your ML models
As a Ruby developer, you will be a part of a talented team to create our backend system that handles more than 10 million requests (and growing) per months.
Qualifications
- Willing to learn the Ruby on Rails development
- Able to code basic HTML/CSS/JS/ReactJS to get the job done
- Experienced/Specialized in backend development with high load and high availability environment
- Knowledge in NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB) and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge in caching (Redis)
- Knowledge in microservices and service scalability
As a Data Engineer to join our growing Data Science team. The hire will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. The Data Engineer will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing our company’s data architecture to support our next generation of products and data initiatives.

- Undergraduate who willing to work full time during an internship period at the company (BTS Phrakanong)
