The ideal candidate needs to understand business needs and work objectives from various stakeholders within GDT and launch relevant research studies to further answer business needs, as well as the development of content.
The day-to-day activities:
- Explore user behaviours and motivations by conducting primary research such as field studies, interviews, diary studies, participatory workshops, ethnography, surveys, usability testing, logs analysis, and online experiments (A/B testing).
- Provide direction on strategy regarding content management, including acquisition, maintenance, QC, and others
- Oversee and shape operations and development of content/UX research management process.
- Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations
- Work with Designers and Product Managers and other members in the Product amp; Design Team to prioritize UX research opportunities and content development in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Strategically implement and follow through on insights gleaned to shape product features and priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years relevant product research experience, either in an end-to-end, usability, or generative setting
- Experience with research design utilising various methods including but not limited to usability studies, contextual inquiry, and surveys.
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
- Fluency in English in addition to your native language
- Demonstrated ability to work and learn effectively in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
