You will be a solo-instrumental player in your own category and a good team player in the country level team and group function. Collaboration with other stakeholders and suppliers to create a good impact. You will help us define and manage the sourcing needs and give the best insight from your expertise. Your Day to Day:
1. Managing SKUs amp; availability from targeted category contribution2. Deliver sales and margin targets 3. Set and maintain daily pricing 4. Negotiate support, promotion program, collaboration from the suppliers 5. Negotiate product cost and rebates to give the best price for HappyFresh customers 6. Set weekly/monthly/yearly promotion plan for each catalogue/frame based on marketing’s promotion calendar 7. Support the category manager to analyse customer’s behaviours, category performance, competitors’ pricing strategy 8. Collaborate with stakeholders for promotion and sales execution (marketing, finance, demand planning, quality assurance) 9. Market Check-up by competitor review and customer insight to set the action planning 10. Managing master data (items, suppliers, pricing) 11. Build and maintain great relationships with current suppliers and proactively search for new suppliers to grow and improve the assortment range (planning SKUs, handling issues and daily execution) 12. Prepare monthly report of each brand 13. Identify new innovative products and specification for either branded or private label products 14. Identify new sources of supply and negotiate best terms with new supplierIdeally, you are:
1. 3-4 years of experience in Buying and Sourcing, preferably in Food (FMCG or Fresh) 2. Knowledge of Range Management, Trade Planning, Supplier amp; Category Management 3. Master Microsoft Office amp; Google Suites 4. Have strong negotiation amp; soft skills 5. Able to communicate in English 6. Solid business acumen 7. Strong ethic 8. Experience of working and delivering cross functionally 9. Proactive, highly driven, entrepreneurial, and strategic thinker. 10. Strong 'hands-on' people management, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, team building, leadership, and coaching skills. 11. Have a good passion in a company with fast-paced condition; Willing to work extra miles amp; can-do attitude.
