Your Challenge
- Oversee and supervise finance team (3-5 subordinates) in terms of daily financial operation, financial reports, taxation and/or online business knowledge.
- Design the processes and input the requirements related to Finance and Taxation on new features in order to support the timely new features development or business expansion and make sure it complies with accounting standards and tax regulation.
- Resolved the day-to-day issues related to Finance and tax regulation raised by customer support, fulfilment, marketplace operation, commercial team. Provided workaround solution and long-term solution on case-by-case basis to ensure the business was not be disrupted.
- Monitor business performance and provide gap analysis between budget and actual financial information and liaise with leadership team to take actions in time to achieve the target.
- Responsible for yearly budgeting, set up process and coordinate with Makro team amp; Marketplace team to ensure the completeness within timeline.
- Responsible for management reports and statutory report preparation to submit to the respective team on timely basis.
- Explore and implement a new financial system to support marketplace business.
- Coordinate with diversified teammates and consultants, shared knowledge, best practice to build up the strong foundation of marketplace business.
- Liaised with business partnerships (e.g. banking, payment gateway, logistics company etc.) on the agreement arrangement, pricing negotiation, working process set up etc.
