Quality Assurance Engineer Intern (Thai Native)
Zaapi, Thailand

We are looking for a highly motivated QA engineer intern to join our team for 3-6 months (flexibility on duration with preference for 6 months) with minimal working experience or knowledge on web and especially mobile apps to join our product and tech team.

As QA engineer intern, you will have the opportunity to support and gain insights into both our engineering and business teams by assisting the development of our product and of crucial internal tools.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to implement best practices at Zaapi

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• You hold a degree or are currently studying a degree in computer science at a top university (or have an equivalent level of proficiency in CS) or have an equivalent level of computer science proficiency
• You’re a proficient communicator and have excellent written and verbal English
• You’re comfortable working remotely (or can work hybrid from Bangkok or Singapore)
• You have passion in working on software quality assurance with an emphasis on mobile apps
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Strong drive and desire to contribute to the product of a fast-growing tech startup
