WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Business Development Operations
• Searching and screening for new business from customers lists, local and overseas sales-leads and techniques.
• Implementing new business strategies to expand existing customer base and to secure target prospects.
• Coordinating with overseas offices / agents on customer's requirements.
• Generating quotation, routing order, booking order, sales leads to overseas offices amp; agents.
• Meeting company assigned target: Key Account Development and new business trade lane.
• Meeting Individual amp; Collective Target per SIS
Customer Relationship
• Creating and maintaining good relationship with Customers to achieve target.
• Daily corresponding and communicating with customers and BLX network.
• Maintaining customer base of existing customers and explore new business opportunities.
• Accomplishing weekly sales visits with new and existing customers.
Others
• Updating in Concerto on weekly sales report (Sales activity, Quotation upload, traffic created).
• Complying with Quality Management System to ensure continual customer satisfaction.
• Applying and filing for credit applications and follow up for outstanding payments with customers.
• Reaching KPI's agreed with Management.
Requirements
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 3-5 years’ experience in sales function in Freight Forwarding Industry.
• Experience in Import amp; Export Forwarding Business.
• Experience in Europe Trade Lane.
• Knowledge of international business and cargo handling will be an advantage.
• Good Interpersonal amp; relations skills with all levels.
• Good selling, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Good command of English.
