Job Description

Giant Pumpkin sells in-store digital communication solutions in Southeast Asia. The company provides turnkey media tech solutions to retailers, property owners, and out-of-home advertising companies in the region. We offer SaaS-based cloud technologies to allow for the broadcasting of digital media in public spaces. Digital content is uploaded and monitored through a web-based interface and is broadcasted to screens and speakers across customer locations.

We are a startup with big ambitions and are now looking for a Regional Business Development Manager, based in Bangkok, who will be instrumental in the success of our business. While we rapidly scale up our client base your main responsibilities would be to onboard, consult, and help our customers who are looking to improve their digital out-of-home and signage inventory.


As a Business Development Manager you will be:

  • Developing and executing a strategy for identifying and approaching new leads in DOOH and Retail.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Be an integral part of the business and product strategy for the company
  • Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Managing and creating the rights partnerships in order to build a competitive advantage for our customer offering
  • Managing client-specific projects, understand customer's objectives, pain-points and develop plans and pricing proposals to address the customers needs.
  • Training and develop local and regional partners and new team members

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Business Developer with a role-up-your sleeves mentality and a proven track record in project-driven sales processes.

We are looking for the following attributes:


  • Proven track record in finding, approaching, and successfully closing leads for cloud-based B2B technologies.
  • Ability to understand large customer needs and lead the requirement specification as well as identify and clearly communicate areas of improvement.
  • Capacity to independently research and draw conclusions to better and more accurate target relevant market segments
  • Structured and confidence-inspiring approach to sales
  • Interest and a basic understanding of general cloud software solutions (no coding or deep hardware understanding needed).
  • Track record in
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments.
  • Result-driven with a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in digital media, retail operations, or digital signage is a plus
  • You have a master’s degree and at least 5-year experience in a comparable role with a proven track record.
