Data Wow is searching for a motivated and experienced Legal Manager to guarantee that our business processes and transactions follow all relevant legal and internal guidelines as well as giving legal assistance and advice. Your responsibility will be reviewing legal documents, business contracts (vendors, customers, employees), providing support in legal issues developing company policies, responding to policy violations and providing the PDPA advice and solution to the company and the customers.
Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Provide legal advice and documents support to operational with respect to legal matters
- Prepare, review, revise, and comment on contracts, notices, letters, and other legal documents
- Develop and review company policies
- Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports (especially Privacy Law, Digital Law and Foreign Investment Law)
- Research on laws updates and news
- Prepare Thai and English translations of contracts and any other legal documents
- Coordinate with other teams and government authorities
- Consult and handle all corporate legal processes (e.g. compliance issues, labor and data protection) with sharp attention to details
- Mentor and arrange PDPA training workshops in Thai and English
- Provide supervision to team members with specialized legal services
- Monitor, motivate and lead team members
- Set team goal and subordinates’ KPI in order to do the performance evaluation
- Give guidances and promote best practices to team members
- Interview and select potential candidates to join the team
- Other legal work as assigned
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- 3-5 years proven experience at a law firm and/or work experience as an in-house lawyer
- Excellent knowledge in PDPA and corporate law (e.g. contract, labor, etc,)
- Highly analytical with a strong attention to details and a pragmatic approach
- Able to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements
- Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking environment
- Eager to learn, open-minded and dynamic
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
