Senior Program Manager Thailand (Banking Payments Sector)

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with recent Thailand based Banking and Payments experience. The Senior Program Manager will oversee and manage multiple complex projects within the financial services and banking industry. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. You will also manage stakeholder and build relationships with key clients.

You must speak fluent Thai and English.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple complex projects within the financial services, retail and banking industry.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Create and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success, including technology, operations, legal, compliance, and risk management.
• Manage project risks and issues, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Manage complex projects with a mix of waterfall and agile project management.
• Provide regular project status updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous process improvement and implement changes to improve project delivery and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional project management certification such as PMP or Prince2 is a must.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in program or project management within the financial services or banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial services and banking products, software, services, and processes.
• Strong knowledge of the payments sector (PromptPay, LinePay, mPay, True Money, etc)
• Strong knowledge of the retail financial services sector, e.g., mobile wallet payments and acceptance, would be an advantage.
• Experience managing large-scale, complex software implementation projects with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
• You must have strong writing skills in both English and Thai.
• You must be fluent in English and Thai.
